A card of every teammate is the end-of-season gift kids actually keep. It beats another participation trophy, and it's the thing they'll trade on the bus and dig out of a drawer ten years from now. The hard part has always been the logistics: chasing twelve families for photos, designing every card, and getting them printed in time for the party.

Here's how to make custom trading cards for your whole team without being the parent who does all of it.

How it works

The trick is that each family makes their own player's card, and the coach or team parent just collects them.

  1. Get a team link. The coach or team manager sets up the team and shares one invite link in the team chat.
  2. Every player makes a card. Each family opens the link, uploads a photo, picks a style, and adds name, number and position. It takes about two minutes, and they can try a few styles before submitting.
  3. The coach reviews. Cards come in to the team page. The coach or team manager approves each one, or asks for a better photo.
  4. Print and hand out. Order the printed team sets, and everything ships together to the coach, ready to hand out at practice or the end-of-season party.

No one has to design anything, and nobody needs to send twelve photos to one overworked team parent.

What each player gets

With a full team order, every player and coach gets:

  • A full team set: one printed card of every teammate and coach, plus a team checklist card.
  • 10 extra copies of their own card to share with grandparents and family.
  • Their own card in a magnetic display case, the rest of the set in a clear card case, boxed in their own Sports Card Maker box.
  • A digital collection to keep their cards, view them in 3D and share them with family by link.
  • A digital pack rip: a private link where the team opens a virtual foil pack and pulls everyone's cards one by one. It's a hit at the end-of-season party.

The cards are real trading cards: 2.5″ × 3.5″ on thick premium gloss stock, printed on both sides, with each player's stats or a short story on the back.

What it costs

  • Team Pack: $350 for 12 people (for example 10 players and 2 coaches), +$29 per extra player. Includes the printed team sets, packaging and shipping.
  • Deluxe Team Pack: $569 for 12, +$47 per extra player. Everything above plus an 18″ × 24″ team poster for every family, with everyone's card on it.

That works out to about $29 per player for a complete printed team set, less than most picture-day packages. See everything included on the Team Pack page.

Smaller budget? Teams can also run themselves: the $30 Team Pack of 60 digital cards unlocks team mode (the invite link, team page and team collages), and families order printed packs for their own player as they like ($29 for 10, $39 for 25).

Works for every sport and age

Little League and travel baseball are the classic fit, but it works the same for softball, basketball, soccer, football, hockey, lacrosse, volleyball, wrestling, cheer and dance: any team with a roster and a photo of each player. Rec league 8-year-olds and varsity seniors both love seeing themselves on a real card.

Tips for a great team set

  • Ask for action photos. A mid-swing, mid-shot or mid-stride photo makes a far better card than a posed headshot. Picture-day portraits work too.
  • Agree on a style. A team set looks best when everyone picks the same style, or at least the same feel. The coach can suggest one in the invite message.
  • Collect stats early. Batting average, goals, a fun fact or a one-line story on the back makes each card personal. Families can add it when they make the card.
  • Leave a week for printing. Orders print in weekly batches and typically arrive in about 2–3 weeks, so order before the last game, not the night before the party.

Frequently asked

How do we make custom baseball cards for a Little League team? The coach or team parent shares one team link, each family makes their player's card from a photo, and the coach approves them and orders printed team sets that ship together. It takes each family about two minutes.

How much do custom trading cards for a team cost? A Team Pack is $350 for 12 people (+$29 per extra player), with a printed team set for everyone, packaging and shipping included. The Deluxe Team Pack is $569 and adds a team poster for every family.

Does every family need an account? Yes, a free account. That's how each family makes their own card, submits it to the team, and keeps their digital collection after the season.

Can we include coaches? Yes. Coaches get a card in every team set, and they count toward the 12 people in the pack.

Are the cards safe and private for kids? Accounts belong to parents, uploaded photos are not stored, and cards stay private unless a parent chooses to share them.

The short version

Share one link, let every family make their own player's card, approve them, and order printed team sets that arrive boxed and ready to hand out. It's the end-of-season team gift that gets traded, kept and remembered.
